This year, 2012, Donelda Pocock celebrates the 10th anniversary as the owner and bakery chef at the former Killer Desserts and now Killer Desserts & Café in Port Stanley.
As a four decade advocate of scratch baking, Donelda rejects boxed mixes or pre mixed dough in order to provide her customers with the finest baked goods

Killer Desserts & Café offers the "Best Coffee in Town" with fresh brewed Columbian medium dark roast, espresso and specialty coffees. This year Donelda has added beans from 13 different countries. Included are the world renowned 100% Jamaican Blue Mountain and 100% Hawaiian Kona Fancy. All are available to enjoy as fresh ground French Press in the Café or to purchase by the pound.
With a wide selection of 25 loose teas, Donelda is introducing High Tea as part of the 10th anniversary celebration.
Killer Desserts & Café offers deli style sandwiches featuring local meats and produce. Most can be prepared gluten free. As well there are soups prepared from scratch, salads and to die for desserts. Donelda’s quarter pound plus tarts are a runaway favourite. And yes, as a McCall’s graduate, Donelda creates custom wedding cakes.
The Café also features a retail section with gourmet sauces, dips and spices as well as one of the largest selections of hot sauces in the area.
Killer Desserts & Café can accommodate all of your party or meeting needs from casserole to veggies, sandwich, fruit and desserts trays as well as gift baskets.
